Sometimes your pet may be too sick to be at home
If your pet requires treatment that can only be given by a veterinary professional such as intravenous fluids or injectable medications, we will keep them in hospital and they will be provided with their own soft bed and heat mat for their stay.
Hospital patients are examined by a vet morning and evening. At these checks their progress is discussed by the team and changes are made as needed to their treatment plan.
During the day, our patients are monitored closely by the clinical team with attention paid to their comfort levels, nutritional needs and response to treatment. Dogs are brought outdoors regularly and cats have access through a portal to a neighbouring individual litter tray area.
Intravenous fluids are provided using fluid pumps. Our wards are set up with patient comfort and stress levels in mind.
With separate dog and cat wards, isolation facilities, and hands on nursing care, we can provide the utmost in patient care when a pet needs to be hospitalised.
